Think You Know A  Woman When You See One?

Which one is a man? Which one is a Woman?

The picture on the left appears to be male wile the one on the right appears to be female, But in fact they’re  both the same Female.

By leaving the eyes and lips unaltered and simply changing the overall darkness and light difference between the  images, we begin to notice and flag one as male and the other as female.

Why does this work?

We humans differentiate gender by the amount of facial contrast, for example a man has very little facial contrast where as a woman has a bit more and through the application of make up a woman can bring more contrast to her face making herself look more feminine therefore more attractive.
